Hello!

Thank you for checking out my website. I am a self-taught acrylic painter based in Kansas City.

I find endless inspiration in the colors of nature—especially the animals that live within its most vibrant corners.

As a child I loved creating. From cutting pictures out of wildlife magazines to make collages, to sewing clothes for my dolls, to making up dance routines with my sister. My favorite memories growing up are those that allowed me to use my imagination.

I picked up a paint brush in 2020 along with lots of people that decided they needed a hobby. I felt that I wasn’t using my whole creative being in life and wanted to get back to what made me happy as a kid - creating.

And after 6 years of practice, I believe this is what I was always meant to do.

I’m drawn to wildlife because it grounds me. I’m reminded that we’re all one piece to a larger puzzle. Each piece is valuable and needed to create a complete picture.

I also enjoy researching and learning about every animal that I paint. I feel inspired by what specific creatures embody. Quiet beauty, resilience, and authenticity.

I hope my paintings create pause and wonder for you. Maybe they remind you that we’re all important in our own way. And just maybe, they make your inner child happy too. :)
